*hampstead heath*
Hampstead Heath is London's largest ancient parkland covering 790 acres. This grassy public space is one of the highest points in London, running from Hampstead to Highgate.The Heath is rambling and hilly, embracing ponds, recent and ancient woodlands, a lido and playgrounds. South of the Heath is Parliament Hill, a viewpoint which allows a panoramic view over the whole city.
I really enjoyed London's 'rural' life after spending the last couple of days in bed being ill. The weather was nice and the view was just beautiful. Chiara and I walked from Hampstead to Highgate and passed by an old and savaged cemetry and very scary but ridiculously beautiful fairy tale houses. Simply a lovely day...
