*camden town*

Beautiful day today, no rain at all. Chiara and I visited Camden Town and Market. "Camden Market" or "Camden Lock" is one of London biggest markets. The stalls sell crafts, clothing, bric-a-brac, fast food and other things. The shops in Camden Town are also very interesting and unique. It's definitly worth a visit.

*saturday night*

After a more or less boring meeting with the German community of "Deutsche-In-London" in an empty pub, Sabrina (one of the attending German girls who has been living in London for 3,5 yrs) introduced Bianca and me to a very nice pub around Piccadilly Circus. I suppose I found my new fav pub. Maybe because it's actually Irish :) The pub is called Waxy O'Connor's (http://www.waxyoconnors.co.uk) and it's amazing.

Lots of people with really scary fancy dresses were on the street yesterday but Chiara and I decided not to dress up. We met up at Oxford Circus and went out for dinner. My dear Lonely Planet London guide directed us to a wonderul restaurant called "Leon" (http://www.leonrestaurants.co.uk) where the both of us had the very delicious "Benny's Winter Chicken Curry" and some homemade juicy drinks.
Afterwards we went to a club called "KOKO" (http://www.koko.uk.com) located in Camden. Here are a few impressions of our more than funny night out:

P.S.: I received a letter with my National Insurance Number today - yeah!

*swimming*

Yesterday Bianca (a German girl living in my neighbourhood) and I went for a swim. We chose the from the outside really nice looking Wavelengths Leisure Centre in Deptford(http://www.leisurecentre.com/centres/58/home/Wavelengths-Leisure-Centre.aspx) for our first swimming experience in England. The inside was also acceptable. Maybe a bit more dirty than in Germany but better than expected.
We went in the evening and it was quite uncrowded.
Much to our regret the boiler was out of order and there were only cold showers ~ freeeeeeeeezing :(

*mudchute farm and park*

Yesterday we went to an inner city farm called Mudchute Farm and Park (http://www.mudchute.org). It's really strange because you're standing in the middle of a farm facing the huge Canary Wharf buildings.
